Pay Per View for Pacquiao Mayweather Fight

Finally, years of waiting for the Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Jr fight has come to an end. It was officially announced by both camps that the fight will push through on May 2, 2015. The talks have been going around for the past six years and soon it will happen.

This boxing match will definitely outdo all revenue records in boxing history. Archrivals HBO and Showtime are teaming up for the pay per view telecast. Mayweather has an exclusive six-fight deal with Showtime while Pacquiao has a contract with HBO.

The two boxers had a chance encounter when both watched the Miami Heat home game. They were courtside and got together at halftime. Manny said it was the first time they had ever met. After the game, they had a private talk in Pacquiao’s hotel suite.

This early, many are asking about the PPV price for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight but no amount has been set to date. They will split the purse 60-40 in Mayweather's favor. The match is set to happen at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
