Heart Evangelista's Wedding Bouquet, Lily of the Valley

 White wedding flowers are a traditional choice for a wedding bouquet. But Princess Kate Middleton had an unusual bouquet, as it was small and subtle. It was made up almost entirely of Lily of the Valley. Apparently, this flower means trustworthy, a good characteristic for any husband or wife to have. But some say this flower instead represents the return of happiness.

Lily of the valley was also the flower chosen in the bridal bouquet of Princess Grace Kelly.

A member of the lily family, this has bell-shaped, drooping white flowers that have the most incredible sweet scent. But, unkown to many, this sweetly secnted woodland flowering plant with scientific name Convallaria majalis is highly poisonous.

Lily of the valley in Philippine weddings? The pretty wedding bouquet of Heart Evangelista was made of Lily of the Valley flowers held together by a picture of her parents on their own wedding day. How much is lily of the valley?  This is a very expensive flower, with 10 stems costing about $30 on wholesale and around $10 a stem if bought from florists.  Thus, a good sized bouquet of lily of the valley can cost around $300 to $500.
