Reportedly, actor Phillip Salvador had a heated confrontation with a foreigner on December 16, 2014. He was apparently seen screaming at a Norwegian national at an Italian Restaurant Sbarro in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. The foreigner allegedly insulted a Filipino restaurant staff because he did not like the spaghetti that was served to him. He was said to be angry and called the staff "stupid" and "a bunch of idiots".
He and his wife were already on their way out when they noticed the foreigner shouting. Philip approached and confronted him, to which the foreigner replied, “Who the fuck are you?” Phillip then answered,"m the fucker who’s gonna beat your ass if you don’t apologize to them."
According to reports, Phillip could not help but get in the way. “You don’t insult the Filipinos. Let’s get out of this place, I’m gonna fight you. You only know how to scream at girls,” Phillip recalled telling the foreigner.
The Norwegian has reportedly threatened to call the police, but Phillip just told him to do so and he said he will ask the security to throw him out of the place. Apparently, the Norwegian left the restaurant after feeling that Phillip won't back out from the fight.
Reports say that some customers tried to pacify the situation while some took videos on their mobile phones. Phillip said he is not worried if the video will spread online after learning that someone recorded the confrontation. Let's wait and see if any video will surface on YouTube.
