It can be recalled that Charice Pempengco, now simpy "Charice" shot to fame via YouTube. That hit video on YouTube was taken from the South Korean TV show "Star King" in 2007. She was then noticed by Ellen DeGeneres and eventually invited to perform on "Ellen".
The following year, Charice appeared on Oprah where Oprah Winfrey finally gave her her first real international break.
The past days, Charice traveled to the United States, Canada and Europe for the first part of the album promo tour.
The rest of the tour schedule: Philippines, July 15-18; Japan, July 19-21; Thailand, July 21-23; and Malaysia, July 24-26. However, these are not free shows.
For the Season 2 of the hit musical series “Glee,” Charice reportedly will start shooting on July 28 while the season premier will be in September 2010.
