Piolo was very happy with Sharon Cuneta's statement that he is a "good influence" to her daughter KC Concepcion.
In the middle of all the hype and excitement over Piolo and KC's team-up in the upcoming Philippine remake of the popular Koreanovela Lovers in Paris, Piolo vowed "Hindi ko sisirain 'yung trust, 'di ko sisirain yung binibigay sa akin na respect...of course, of her parents...so talagang ako...you know...pinapangalagaan ko iyon."
This was during an interview for ABS-CBN's Star Patrol.
