Vilma and Piolo to portray Cory and Ninoy?

During the press conference of 555 Tuna, which she endorses, Kris Aquino admitted that ABS-CBN's Star Cinema is negotiating with a US-based company for a co-production deal.
If she were to choose the lead actress to portray her mom Cory Aquino, she quipped, “I can’t think of anyone but Ate Vi (actress Vilma Santos) to play mom from the time dad was assassinated, up till her death”.
But in case Vilma Santos will be unavailable due to upcoming 2010 elections, Kris would like Sharon Cuneta to do it.

How about the actor to portray her dad Ninoy Aquino? Aga Muhlach. Kris said that picking the actor for the adult Ninoy very tough. "Kailangan magaling talaga—and Aga is one of the most talented actors of his generation.”

Her top three choices for movie director are Olivia Lamasan, Laurice Guillen, and Marilou Diaz-Abaya. She said that she and her four siblings would like a woman to direct the movie.
ABS-CBN senior vice president Malou Santos earlier said the network was keen on getting Batangas governor Vilma Santos for the role of Cory and Piolo Pascual as the young Ninoy.
Why not do it herself? Kris replied: “I’m not anything like mom. She was soft-spoken… hindi ko kaya. I’m not that good an actress.”
She added: “My sisters had fun picking the actors who might portray us. Ate Ballsy likes Jodi (Sta. Maria); Pinky wants Angelica Panganiban. Noy is okay with John Lloyd (Cruz). We’re still thinking who will play Viel, but Bianca Gonzalez is okay. Ako, si Kim Chiu.” (She later changed her mind and named Anne Curtis).
